Mainsoft SharePoint® Integrator for Lotus®
Notes® is an easy-to-deploy, client-side plug-in for Lotus Notes
that gives Notes users instant access to SharePoint document libraries from a sidebar in
Lotus Notes. Notes users can work more productively dragging-and-dropping SharePoint
content, such as Microsoft® Word® documents, Excel®
spreadsheets, and PowerPoint® presentations, stored on one or more SharePoint sites, into Notes emails or
calendar appointments.
Notes users can also drag-and-drop email attachments such as Office documents to
a sidebar inside Notes in order to update SharePoint document libraries.
Sample features:

View Office document libraries stored on SharePoint
from the Notes sidebar; drag-and-drop a document into a Notes email.
|
|

Modify existing documents within a SharePoint document library using check-in/check-out features. |
Mainsoft's SharePoint-Java EE interoperability software supports an intelligent coexistence strategy for using both Lotus Notes and SharePoint. It's a practical alternative to the steep costs and risks inherent in a migration strategy, and the inefficiencies and frustrations caused by a do-nothing strategy. Read more about coexistence versus migration options in Mainsoft's whitepaper, Integrating SharePoint with Lotus Notes: Strategic Coexistence.
Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator is easy to install and manage and does not require
any software to be installed on SharePoint. Download a
30-day evaluation copy of SharePoint Integrator, which provides out-of-the-box
support for Lotus Notes 8. If you want to integrate SharePoint document
libraries into Lotus Notes 6.5 or 7.0, contact sales@mainsoft.com.
You can also contact Mainsoft if you want
custom integration solutions between Lotus Notes and SharePoint, including
email management, synchronizing calendars and contacts, and business mashups across SharePoint
content, Domino, Java, and .NET applications.
